A. W. Marion State Park - 5 October 2008

We had a beautiful day to Orienteer and a pretty good turn-out. Earl Reisinger set 5 courses and the longest was the most popular. The award for the person coming the furthest to Orienteer goes to Alik Friedman, who traveled from Israel to visit Eugene Granovskiy. They both came out to run the Red course with us. Earl set up the registration/start area near the Marina this time. It was a nice change from our usual location. Hargus Lake was down which increased the route choices for many. It allowed some corners to be cut for those courses that required a trip around the north end of the Lake. We hope to see you all back to Orienteer with us at Delaware St. Pk. on Saturday, 25 October.
