National Orienteering Day

Bob Huebner set all 5 courses early Saturday morning. There was a heavy fog spilling over from the Lake that slowly cleared as the first Orienteers arrived. By the end of the day we had 38 Orienteers join us including 19 Orienteering for their first time. Everyone seemed to njoy themselves on this beautiful day.

Since this was National Orienteering Day we had our usual drawing for prizes. All first time Orienteers were eligible. The Brunton company provided 4 compasses and a hat for prizes. Additionally, we gave away 5 coupons good for a free day of Orienteering. The hat was given to he COO member who brought or sent the most new Orienteers to the event.
