The first meet of the year was a nice day, a little on the cool side and with low fog early on, but the snow had mostly melted leaving behind a lot of mud and water. Consequently stream crossing were a little high especially if you took the loop trail around Hargus Lake as a route choice on the Score Course. Only Gabe ended up doing that though.

Earl set up both a White Course and a 24 control Score Course. The controls on the score course had point values of 1, 2 or 3 points, with a course time limit of 90 minutes. Thanks to Earl for designing the course, setting the controls, helping with registration and picking up controls. Thanks also to Heather and Karen for picking up controls and Karen for working registration.

Our next meet for Great Seal on April 13th is confirmed and we have the Ireland Picnic shelter reserved. Hope to see you there.
