Thank you to everyone who took part in COO's most recent event - our Clintonville Urban Orienteering EVENT - August 22, 2026. 

Weather was GOOD for most of the event; some clouds came in, and we had a few minutes of light rain, but it didn't stick around too long. Weather was mostly cool / not too hot. 

We had a tick problem at the start/finish, so we hope everyone CHECKED FOR TICKS that day!

We had participants ranging from people who never did this before to a team training for an ultra race. We had people from Kentucky and Indiana, as well! This is an awesome turnout, and the range of experience is so interesting!

Results are shown with "splits" - the average time per find. Not a real split because everyone could go any direction they wanted, there were no fixed courses this day. But we had 50 controls. If we had offered 8 hours of finding, we might have had more orienteerers who "found 'em all"! 

COO plans to do another URBAN orienteering event in our 2027 season. Hoping to see you there, too!
